_. Locksets and Latches

Locksets and latches shall be heavy duty type in function, trim and finish as specified.

Multiple-point locking system
a. Security deadlock shall be Securitech model #4200, Multi-Lock system, an internally mounted multiple-point deadbolt system with simultaneous locking or unlocking on one 360 degree key revolution from the exterior side and turnknob or key from inside, as listed on the hardware schedule.

b. Moving deadbolts shall project a minimum of one full inch in each direction. The lockside, top and bottom bolts shall be moving and of hardened steel construction. The hinge side bolt shall be a stationary bolt.

c. Multi-Lock shall be located at the center of the door, installed at a height of approx. fifty inches. If the door is of hollow metal construction, the vertical stiffeners should be located so as to leave a seven inch space in the center of the door.

Finish shall be as detailed in the hardware schedule, either 605 (brass) or 626 (dull chrome or stainless steel).?
