A locking system power supply unit (PSU) shall be installed adjacent to the intercom amplifier cabinet in the basement or other designated location not accessible by the public. The PSU shall accept all wiring from the door lock electric release, electromagnet cut-off switches and electromagnetic lock.

The PSU shall contain a relay which accepts 16vAC from the intercom system door release output. The PSU shall contain a test switch visible and operable from the cover. The test switch shall allow for testing of the electric release in the exterior lever handle without receiving the impulse from the intercom system.

The PSU shall contain all transformers necessary to power the Securitech Maglatch system. The PSU shall accept 110v input via a standard grounded plug capable of insertion into a standard grounded outlet.

The cover shall be fastened by a tamperproof screw. The PSU cabinet shall be securely fastened to a wall. The unit shall be model #PS105 as manufactured by Securitech Group, Inc. (718) 392-9000 or approved equal.
