Internal Vertical Rod Device With Rectangular Push Plate:
- Existing to remain
- Retrofit switch supplied for activation on panic bar depression to send signal
- Retrofit switch provided for 2nd door

Exterior Trim:
- LR style standard (GG & UG) also available
- Mortise cylinder (by others)
- DC release from access control system standard - Add "-RE" for re-entry (fail-safe entry)
- Special activating cam for use with Kawneer internal exit device
- Custom mounting plate to bypass vertical rods withing door

Dummy trim may be ordered separately for in-active leaf (matches trim style).

How Does It Work?
Designed for retrofit installation to existing Kawneer exit doors, LXK control trim and switches allow integration into the access control system.

When exiting, the panic bar activates an internal switch which sends a signal to the access control system to generate a local alarm. Exiting without sounding an alarm may be accomplished via use of a card reader and valid card.

To enter, the access control system can momentarily energize the lever or the key may be used to release the lever. An optional key usage switch can send a signal to the access control system to let it know that a key has been used in place of the access control system.

Wiring Info:

Active Leaf (with exterior trim):
A) 2 wires from exit device to alarm system for Push Plate depressed signal (R-T-E or alarm initiation)
B) 2 wires from exterior trim to power supply for release

In-Active Leaf (no exterior trim):
A)2 wires from exit device to alarm system for Push Plate depressed signal (R-T-E or alarm initiation)

This model features three individual Yamaka Power Transfers to be mounted at the header for power and signal transfers.
