Key Lockable
Flushbolts
Operated By A Single Cylinder
Usage
Functions as "lockable" flushbolts on inactive
leaf of a pair of doors. Turning key or turnpiece projects
or retracts both vertical deadbolts simultaneously.
May not be used in fire-rated openings.
Door Information
Preparation: ANSI Mortise Opening (1-1/4"
X 8"). Face hole for cylinder(s) only as per function.
Strike prep on this door may be required for lock from
active leaf. Check primary lock requirements.
Cylinder Location: 50" from bottom of opening,
or as needed so as not to interfere with locks and hardware
on active leaf. Cylinder(s) by others.
Height Adjustment: Vertical bolts are connected
to the lock body by threaded rods. Rod length can be
cut-down in the field, if needed. Supplied standard
for a 7' door. Specify height for taller doors.
Type: Vertically Stiffened Hollow Metal recommended.
5" min. from edge of door to first stiffener. Vertical
rods travel between edge of door and stiffener.
Top & Bottom Edges: "U" Channel
recommended. Removable cap for top of exterior doors.
Holes for edge plates can be field drilled and do not
require factory template.
Header Strike: Not required. Hole to be field
drilled and smoothed.
Dustproof Strike: Supplied for field installation
into floor or saddle.
