| The exterior
cylinder is used to unlock the lever for extended
periods. A key is not required for entry until
the lever is re-locked by key. On models with
electric release, the electric release will function
while the lever is locked. |

| The interior
lever is locked in the downward position, which
keeps the latch retracted. The door can then be
pushed or pulled open. The lever is released and
the door re-locked by use of key. Exiting is possible
at all times, regardless of mode. |
