Load Bearing
Switches
Both
the interior and exterior levers of the UG or
GG series may contain independent switches, rated
at 5 Amps, 30vDC. These can interrupt the electromagnetic
lock's power and have a mechanical life of 10
million cycles. Depressing the lever opens the
circuit. |

Fail-Safe Re-Entry Function |
The
exterior cylinder is used to unlock
the lever for extended periods. A
key is not required for entry until
the lever is re-locked by key. On
models with electric release,
the electric release will function
while the lever is locked. |
Applications:
- Classrooms
- Office Entry
- Public Spaces where latching is
required to meet fire code, but free
entry is desired at certain times |
| UG
& GG interior trims may include an optional
signal switch for use with alarmed or access
control doors. Depressing the interior lever
actuates the switch. |
The
interior lever of the LR trim is locked
in the downward position, which keeps the
latch retracted. The door can then be pushed
or pulled open. The lever is released and
the door re-locked by use of key. Exiting
is possible at all times, regardless of
mode. |
Applications:
- High-Traffic Storefront Entry
- Public Arena
- Parks
- Museum
- Education Institutions |

Cylinder
Protector
(UG Trim Only)
Full
face steel cylinder protector is standard
for regular cylinders. |
"BEST"-type
IC core cylinders require a "8"
plug opening. |
Yale
IC core cylinders require an oval keyhole
opening. |

Access
Control Cut-Off Switch
Access
control systems can be complicated to program
and turn on and off. Frequently a computer
is needed to change status, time zones,
etc.
The cut-off switch feature allows a clockwise
rotation of the key to toggle the access
control system on or off. The supervisor
does not need to have any programming skills
to turn the system off for a defined period
(after hours, weekend, etc.) or turn it
back on. |

Key
Usage Switch
| UG &
GG exterior trims may be unlocked by key
or electrically. To identify use of a key
instead of the access control system, the
KU switch activated when the door is unlocked
by use of a key, instead of the access control
system. |

Cover-Up Underplate

to cover multiple holes on the door from
old hardware and give the door a clean
lock after the installation. Will cover
Folger-Adams
"Levertrak" holes.
Ordered as a separate item. Non-handed. |
Long
Lead Wires
